A Staten Island woman who was shot by her teenage son during a dispute has died, police said Sunday.
Minire Pelinkovic, 51, was blasted in the chest by her 18-year-old son, Adnan Pelinkovic, in their New Dorp home about 6:20 p.m. Saturday, according to the NYPD. She was rushed to Staten Island Hospital University North and pronounced dead about 11 p.m., cops said.
Police said the son, who was taken into custody at the scene, used a Sig Sauer 9mm owned by his father in the alleged slay.
The deadly shooting was prompted by “some sort of argument,” an NYPD spokesperson said.
At the home, cops who responded said they saw the teen’s dad and victim’s husband, 54, with a non-life-threatening gash on his chest, according to the NYPD.
Adnan Pelinkovic was charged with murder, attempted murder, as well as two counts each of assault, criminal possession of a loaded weapon and menacing, police said.
